Letter from the President

Greetings Brothers, friends of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and the Gamma Iota Chapter. It is with great pleasure I welcome you to our virtual Ice Cold home. The Gamma Iota Chapter was chartered on February 9th, 1947 at Hampton Institute. We are privileged to have you visit our newly designed website and take the time to learn about our general organization, our chapter, and our brothers - both past and present.

I am honored to serve as President of this great chapter. Our distinguished chapter will continue to move Onward and Upward in doing the work of Alpha. This up coming year we will host numerous community service, educational, and social programs in order to improve the social stature of people both within and outside of the Hampton University community. As we celebrate 62 years of excellence we will carry on the legacy established by those who came before us and leave a trail of gold for those who will come. Jewel Robert Harold Ogle said it best, "Alpha Phi Alpha undoubtedly faces the most challenging test in its history."
