This is what we will be making.  The Phaser is 3D printed with electronics making it light up and play sounds.  This will be a great tutorial and you can use what you have learn for other projects.

In this video we will go over 3D Builder and it's interface.  We will split the phaser in half so we can put electronics inside.

In this tutorial you will be learning how to remove part of the 3d model and how to add and color so you can't tell what you did to the model. 

In this tutorial we will be making seam supports and fixing a hole in the 3d model.

In this lesson we will be creating a button for the phaser and making a hole for sound to come out of and making a speaker holder. 

Another button.  This button will switch the phaser from stun to kill.

In this lesson we will be adding a charge port to the phaser. 

Going nuts and screwy.  In this lesson we will prepare the model for Knurled nuts and work on the bottom section of the phaser.

Working on the bottom of the Phaser.  We will be slicing the model and adding a seam support and adding a LED hole, power switch slot. 

In this video I printed out the top section of the phaser.  I did notice some issues and will show you how to fix them. 

In this lesson we will be working with the electronics.  We have modified the 3D Model and now we need to add the electronics. 

Electronics!  Yes, we are now working on the sounds.  We will start off by preparing the MP3 Player and solder the wires to the Arduino Board. 

We are programming the Arduino and mp3 is playing sound.... It's alive!  First step and most difficult.  We are a couple steps away from completing this project. 

We will be adding a second button to our Arduino Sketch.  

In this video we will be adding a slot for the quick connect, preparing it for the LED. 

In this video, I will teach you how to implement lights with the sounds.  We will be programming a RGB to the Arduino board.

Adding more sounds and lights.  In this tutorial we are almost done with this project.  We learn about generating more sound effects using AI and implementing them into our sketch. 

Final steps and we are finishing the Star Trek Phaser 1.  Minor tweaks to the sketch.  Do a little 3d building and use Google Slides to make a label.  Hope you enjoy make the phase with me and you will be able to download the 3d files with the sketch from the website.
